Any HG near Seattle?

Post by Jay »

I'm going to be up in Bellevue, WA the next two weeks on business and was hoping to find some place I could rent some gear and fly over the weekend. Anything up near there? From the Schools/Dealer pages on the USHGA site the HG sites don't work and the rest are PG sites.

Hey Jay,

Tiger Mtn is about 15-20mins from Bellevue. We have a couple of other sites (Dog, Blanchard) that work this time of year too but they are a 1 to 2 hour drive. The local club site is http://cloudbase.org

I've soloed a bit (8 mid-day flights and several early morning flights) and learned by aerotow, but I need to work on landings (still doing wheel landings) and would like to try other launch techniques.

Thanks for the URL, I'll look it over.
