Much more than an intercom, much more than 1km with your cell phone and many more uses than instruction.

Whut! Where you guys been?
For less than 30 bucks you can transmit analog video from a HG down to an instructor. The instructor could
wear a set of box goggles at 50-75 bucks a pair, and it would be like he/she was flying along side the student
in real time. Talk over the radio. Of course you can spend more and get much better equipment but, for a
basic setup, you're only talking a 100 dollars.
Go to amazon and search for FPV (First Person View), VTX's (Video Transmitters), FPV goggles, FPV Monitors,
FPV Receivers, etc. All this stuff is sitting on the shelf begging to be used by the HG instruction community,
right now.
Youtube is also full of vids about FPV quads and planes, if you want something to look at. Check it out, you will
be amazed at the electronics/technology that has been developed in the last five years or so.
