I don't know. But if you get on Facebook and look for Greig Ballintine, he is taking alot of pictures here and I think may even have that guy identified.
By the way, the flying and the facilities and entertainment have all been great.

A photo of the result of pilot error and the first responders (20140830). The pilot demonstrated proficiency in inducing a tuck and tumble by whipstalling his T2C in a small/strong thermal core , in view of several dozen pilots at Villa Grove launch. He did not deploy a reserve. After the tuck, his glider tumbled a couple of times and impacted rather hard, a couple hundred yards south of launch.

A large gathering of old farts. Reggie sponsored and administered a spot landing comp (for hg and pg pilots) at the meet, with very entertaining results :D
It was very interesting to hear his tale of the very first flights made in Telluride, with landings on Main Street.

The Colorado Fly Week was a good time!

I saw a lot of old friends, some I've not seen in years. The weather was such that it was soarable every day, although you had to keep your eye on it. Overall the fly-in as well organized, and my thanks to Larry and Tiffany for their hospitality. I used to fly with Larry and Greg a lot in the old days- before they moved to Colorado. I'd not really seen Larry organize something like this before- he ran a classy operation, which was well-attended with people from all over, not just the US.
