Just discovered this site while reading the february 2010 issue of the ACSM (American Congress on Surveying and Mapping) Bulletin. Interesting concept."Citizens cartographers worldwide are creating an interactive map of the world". As with wikipedia anyone can can contribute anything they find useful. This info can also (like Wikipedia) be edited and updated. This could be useful to HG and PG pilots if we get actively involved. A single source for launches and LZ's thruout the country and even the world. However this might not be appreciated by some locals who like to keep their sites privileged information. Haven't really had a chance to check out this site so don't know much more than what I posted here.

citizen cartographers
I have perused your site. However OSM's premise is that mapping should be open source and free and not contolled by coporate entities such such as Goggle.
