WW Talon vs. Moyes Litespeed

Post by Johnpeace »

I've read this review, http://204.48.137.40/sbsadiscussion/_disc2/0000001c.htm

Do any of you with first hand experience have comments to make on the differnent characteristics of these new, fine gliders?

I'm sure they're pretty similar (lol, the Talon looks like a perfect knockoff of the Litespeed) but this review suggests heavier handling on the talon. I'm a Ram Air pilot now and it is pretty much as 'heavy handed' a glider as I can even imagine, so I'm sure either of these would be a nice improvement.

I like how cheap and easy it is to get WW parts and hardware.

Dunno, tough call...I'm not going to get a chance to demo them and am probably going to have to buy on the words of others.

What do you think?

I'd love to consider a Lami...but the opportunity isn't there.

I'm doing a work trade for a flight park/dealer who has Litespeeds and Talons...but not Laminars.

Plus, I like the security of a large network of dealers nationwide to assist in parts and support.

thanks,
