Typical

Post by Blindrodie »

That will be the end of the world when the USA goes total retard socialist.
What are you afraid of? Helping your fellow Rich White Republicans? How about your fellow Man? How about the folks that really need it because the RWR's
are too busy getting rich.

I'm so tired of the RWR's thinking that helping one's fellow Man in times of need and persecution is socialism. It's time that many, many people in the US pull their heads out of their asses and try to understand that being humble and helping those in need so that they can help themselves is the right thing to do. I'm so embarrassed for my country and it's failing, now flailing leadership.

Doug I'll wager you're a real pussycat when you are not behind the keyboard. Just like most that are afraid of anything that helps its own people, the same people suppressed by years and years or RWR rule. My own Father was one. I'm a registered Republican. My Father found power in politics and it carried him for 18 years. I grew up watching the RWR's go deeper and deeper into absolute power. And then I watched most of them fall, my Father included.

Time to wake up America!

Hunter Erickson Speaks at Orange County Board of Supervisors

Hunter Erickson wrote:Thank you very much.

My name is Hunter Erickson.

I have a question for you today. What is your legacy going to be? All of you sitting up there are going to be remembered on how you responded to this virus. My question is: how are you going to be remembered? Because right now you are violating constitutional rights and creating a public health crisis under the guise of responding to a pandemic that frankly does not exist. Is that how you what to be remembered? Because it is how you will be remembered if you continue on your current trajectory.

I will back this up with data. According to resent findings by John Hopkins University, the death rate in California even with the grossly inflated death rate is below 0.08 percent. That doesn’t sound like a pandemic. How about this number, according to the CDC we haven’t even reached 95 percent of the forecasted deaths for winter and spring 2020. Does that sound like a pandemic to you? No it doesn’t. But you responded to it like it is a pandemic. And in the wake of your response, is violated constitutional rights of which I will name three. The First Amendment, you have been compliant with the forced closure of the assembly of religious gatherings. The Fourth Amendment, Governor Newsom wants contact tracing, a willful infringement of individual privacy without warrant or suspicion of crime. And the Fifth Amendment, this economic lockdown is the greatest seizure of private property in American history and according to the takings clause; these citizens are owed just compensation. Where is it? While you are up there taking pay, people are being totally destroyed by your corrupt policies without any compensation and we are creating a health crisis. People are not going out and interacting building immune responses to dangerous pathogens. Hospitals and medical clinics are having to close their doors. What do you think is going to happen when we come back out after another month of lock down? Domestic abuse, drug addiction, crime, suicide, violence; all of them are spiking, and will continue to do so.

So let me recite this one more time. You are creating a public health crisis, and you are violating constitutional rights under the guise of responding to a pandemic that does not exist. I don’t think you want to.

Not worth my time, sorry…

Post by Blindrodie »

Reading the above (I did) or following the link (I did NOT) would be such a WASTE of my time. You believe what you want to believe.
I'm happy with how I will be remembered.

I find it so interesting how people will die to make a point and be irresponsible to the the world around them. Go right ahead and drink that koolaid.
I will be sorry when they bury your body.

Totally agree Blindrodie with both your posts. We also have a small share too of Aussies with their heads up their asses, mumbling me,me,meee. Maybe part of the problem lies in America’s elevated sense of itself, as exceptional, as a city on a hill. Australians are far more cynical (realistic?) about political power, those who hold it and those who support them. A TV celebrity with no morals sowing discord and winning political office by doing so shouldn’t come as much of a surprise to us.

How will the Republican of Trump party be remembered ?

For crying out loud-
in Australia 98 poor buggers have died from Covid1

in America 84,763 poor buggers have died from Covid19

You blind and misguided zombies, look at the politics from the governments that CARE for their citizens, then look at what you poor buggers have ended up with?

WAKE up- is it even possible for the zombies amongst you- I still hope so- no wonder the title for this thread!!

Just the facts:

The population of Nevada is 3.2million with 312 covid-19 deaths so far, meaning 0.00975 of the total population. That is below one – one hundredth of a percent, very low odds for Las Vegas.

There has been 338,000 reported cases in Nevada yielding an infection death rate of 0.0923. That is below one tenth of a percent for reported cases. There are many more infected that have not been tested and not reported making that number even lower.

I have only been out three times in over two months while taking precautions, so I think the odds are highly in my favor.

The vast majority of the cases and the deaths are in the northeast states, New York (21,845 deaths), New Jersey (9,508), Massachusetts (5.141), Pennsylvania (3,806), Connecticut (3,008), predominantly Democrat States.

You mean like Democrats.

That paragraph states, as I feel. In middle America from about (but prolly before) 1959 until some time around Nixon I believe I witnessed (from the inside) the political progression that produced that "paragraph". Once it got to Nixon (the critical mass?) the clock for Trump started ticking. I'm actually lucky to be retired and poor and out in the boonies away from civilization as it is.

Here's to better times. SO glad I can still fly!

Yes mate, cheers to better times. Our economy is staggering and will take a few years they say to bounce back- I wonder, seeing we are an export country that needs other countries to bounce back too?, crossed fingers.) Maybe we will drop to our knees, but I'm optimistic.
The lockdown is easing every few weeks, now if it wasn't raining Paddo and I could have driven beyond our postcode to do our "recreational exercise". The mood of the population (at least in my rural north coast of NSW) is we've won the first battle, now the second wave may creep up on us if we are too complacent. Just keep hanging on till a vaccine is made-at least for THIS strain anyway.
I have been fortunate-at least the agricultural industry is still mostly working, which means I am still a weekender-Starting to visualise leaping off that ramp at Byron again - that's where we blow off the cobwebs. Very good fortune to all and sometimes things aren't that bad when they can be worst. Looking forward to carving the air and then work up some height and relax and feel lucky… :D
