You (and your sidekick) will never save hang gliding. It will take a nation of pilots, huge amounts of volunteer time and a bunch of money to get the ball rolling. How can this happen? Will it take the collapse of the USHPA? Doesn't seem likely that will happen. Too much apathy right? Seems the complainers are the ones that have all the great ideas? But what are those ideas? Is there ONE SINGLE idea from the hostiles that can gain some traction?

Give me one good idea to get behind. Just one. Start a new thread. Is it worth the chance of getting banned? You seem to think so. Give me something to do besides reply to the same old tired excuses. Go ahead. I'm waiting. Davis is waiting. Scare is waiting. Damn, the whole Oz Report free flight community is waiting for your glorious ideas…

Don't deflect with outright, ignorant statements about me. None of you really know me. You've never met, seen or talked TO ME.

And for goodness sake it's not about you or me. It's about a sport that we want to embrace, well into our later years and for those of us that want to look up to the sky and say to our grand kids, "See that bird? You can fly just like that bird if you want to bad enough!"

I will retire in a year and I hope by then I can actually get behind a movement in the free flight community that reaps rewards for all of us, even those that disparage it's strongest supporters with nothing but a keyboard and a chip on their shoulder.

Can Tiki do it? I can only hope that she can muster the will. Too bad it will take a whole lot more than her will. For me, hang gliding is a worthy cause. How about you?
