And Ben moved it to the "Speed Gliding" topic before hand.

How could such a simple thread get so high-jacked. ðÿ™„

It's not a hangliding tread and never should have been there.

And your surprised that it got moved off topic?

¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Who cares that another wing-suit jumper is going to
jump after knowing full well all the dangers involved.

I care about the hanglider pilots who will not be taking up wing-suit
BASE jumping because they read this thread on the OZ report.

It's you who have high-jacked the OZ REPORT, well attempted to anyway.
In that you succeeded for a time which proves that is the service you have
provided.

Also indirectly you saved some lives and made hanglider pilots happy to
hang on to a control bar instead of a rip-cord.

High jacked. Do you not understand that term? Evidently not. No doubt you'll post a dissertation on this post.

What does that tell you Darkcloud. Maybe if you used your real name
it might make our site monitors think your really a hang glider pilot and
Not a crazed base jumper who is recruiting for body slammers..

Gee if it was me who really was a problem I think you would have more
real pilots shouting me down. As it is I made a pretty good advasary with
a few others early in who don't disagree with me. It's you who are disagreed
with. Beleive it or not ...

But it's not about me and never has been. It's about saving lives and keeping
Dads at the dinner table.

Go watch the movie "Hidden Figures" so you can see some real life families
and a struggle worth risking. I treared up 2-3 times and love against the odds
bets on people. Real stories that so many deranged wing suit jumpers will
never know because their story was not written yet..

That is a crime to humanity because it takes incredibly brave or incredibly stupid
people to BASE jump with the suit. All this lost humanity could have made a
difference in this world..

This thread is over so get over it..

I guess we could say it is a sport in serious decline?

From your link above..

""Wingsuiting is probably the #1 sport for complete nutters
these days, offering an excellent combination of adrenaline,
3-dimensional freedom, speed, and life-affirming danger.""

They also call it, ""Gravity assisted suicide"".

""For what it's worth, you'll need at least 200 parachute jumps
under your belt and a budget of more than US$15,000 all up
to get yourself trained, equipped and qualified to give it a go?""

You could take flying lessons and go all the way through Private,
Instrument and commercial for $15,000. Then you could make
money flying!

You could buy 2 gliders a harness and lessons if you wanted to be
A Hang glider pilot!

"Nutters" is the right name for wing suiters ..
